Choosing an Exotic Pet

Every year, thousands of pets are given away, abandoned or end up at a local humane society or rescue group. In many cases, these animals end up being destroyed. With small and exotic critters, a pet is usually given up because of an unwillingness to provide the necessary care or a lack of knowledge before getting the animal.
